This multifaceted author, is also an emerging artist, who combines her passion for art, and writing with her philanthropic work. As a former member of the Real Women class 2020 she speaks at many events for the American Heart Association, and other organizations. She’s been featured on CNN en Español and many other channels around the country.

She believes that ” Life is like a piece of art, and the colors in it represent the experiences we live, the good ones and the not so good ones. They all make us grow and help us create our masterpiece”. After some health struggles she focused on Art as a tool to deal with daily stressors that where affecting her health, and in that process she found her purpose. Teaching others to deal with their emotions and placing those on a canvas. She worked in education for 33 years, where she fostered the love of teaching.

Now, she has trained with a licensed Art Therapist and has became certified in using art as a therapeutic tool through the Pain from Your Soul ™ method. She is not a licensed Art therapist, but her work is based on her life experiences and in the certainty that Art has healing powers that can heal your soul.
